Expect to pay a whole lot. Unlike trophies like Excalibur, this is actually useful, with no equivalent item for non-battle jobs. It's hard to find someone willing to sell one.

cant blame the overated price right now, qnp's are too expensive!! and the number of qmp needed to get the requirements of the quest its very difficult and time wasting if we dont sell our discoveries expensive, we will lose money and one day ill b bankrupt

For something like this, I wholeheartedly agree. I think 1b for a sword that's only a couple + points better than crafted is insane, but this, there is no replacement for it.

If anything should be 1-2b, it's this and the Silver Helm.

Vinland set is an ideal Dungeon gear/Pirate gear, if your willing to replace it when it get's plundered or you die in a dungeon. The thing I dont get is how come people dont like it? This is an all round job armour, while the gen robes/cloak's require a battle job.. Pointless if I had the opportunity to buy one or the other this would deffinatly win over the General robe. iPod.
