Every single item including excal can be stolen in dungeons if you loose. No 100 attack item can be stolen by other players though.

Legendary weapons CANNOT be plundered by other players wether you got the weapon from the trashbox or through a quest. ONLY npc's can plunder them.

I've personally tried this out with a friend on GAMA spamming countless pillage orders and also killing my friend with normal melee and at no time did i plunder the weapon off them.

My 151 attack mjolnir was improved 51 times. I know someone who improved their excalibur 60 times and got the attack to 160. I'm too scared to try that with my Mjolnir. Somebody broke their excalibur at 153 attack the same time when I was improving my mjolnir. Anything above 151 attack on either weapon can break the weapon if the improvement fails.

@ lo. It requires "Weaponsmith's Forging Tools" in order to improve the attack of the weapon. They are obtainable through NC and also participating in ESF.

Hard to sell high end weapons nowadays as players prefer the cheap ones but also high attacks. I had to sell my excalibur from 700m to 500m just to get rid of it and took me abt 1-2 weeks to do it. If you have patience you can keep it for a while and maybe someone will want to buy it someday or if you really need of ducats then sell it but for a lower price.

Why do people say Excalibur is the best melee weapon, when this has the same attack, +2 sp, +1 sm, 10 def, and slightly better range? People are always saying that sp is a lot easier to max than sm, which is logical, so why isn't this weapon considered better?

same range... first of. second, this is slower but hits for a lot harder. sword doesnt hit for as hard, and is faster.

Staff is not slower. Where do you get your info, subjective impressions? Official wiki page on Land battle gives the order, and it goes Knife, Staff, Sword...

It is the same range as sword though.

Hits harder? Bullshit. 100 atk is 100 atk, doesn't matter. Range and attack speed are the only important variables (discounting variations in techs for a given weapon type).

Oficial wiki is lame and innacurate like most of our GMs, taiwan wiki lists it as slow speed, but same accuracy as sword, and higher chance for criticals, so yes it is a slow but heavy dmg dealer weapon as said before on other post, like a good viking hammer should be.

Taiwanese Wiki corroborates our official wiki:

武器的攻擊速度：飛刀＞棍棒． 杖＞劍＝矛＞弓＞斧＞槍

Weapon attack speed: Flying[Knife] > sticks[Staff]. Stick[Staff] > sword = spear > bow > Axe > gun

It's exactly the same order given on the official wiki. I love it when people rebuke information with a verifiable source, WITHOUT HAVING READ THEIR OWN SOURCE.
